Default Mk4 Fiesta advice please

Hi there,

I'm due to be given my mum's S reg Mk4 Fiesta (Red) soon as she is getting a company car therefore I need some advice on some modifications.

What wheels and tyre size is best baring in mind that I also want to lower the suspension. I don't want to mess about with the arches......yet anyway.

What springs are available (the car is a 1.0 - no sniggering please!).

Also want to fit a decent exhaust and maybe some sideskirts.

Any pictures of other mk4's would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

12bore sideskirts are the best in my opinion....

you can go 60mm on 15's but the rears will need work even with 195/45/15's.

I paid about £70 for my eibach springs brand new.

get a set of turismo arches for £80 off esp design...makes the car look so much better.

Cheers mossymk4. Any chance of some pics? Found those arches on ESP but they don't have any full shots of them fitted.

for more information, go to http://www.ukfiestanetwork.com

you can get 16's on quite easily, with only rolling of the rear arches, as long as you get the right tyre/offset combination

however, 15's are a good bet, and very easy to get on.

and i dont think its a 1.0

the mk4's came with 1.3 OHV, 1.25 zetec, 1.4 zetec engines

Here's a link to my car:

Yeah my mistake - it's a 1.25 LX.

Think i've decided on a 40mm drop on 15's with a 195/45/15 tyre.

Lots of other plans but see how the money goes.

Off to Australia for a month on Friday so the car will be ready for collection when I get back and then the modding can begin.

Cheers AdamB. I've just registered on Fiesta Network - good site. Your car looks stunning! Looks like basically the same model as mine. Is that the Zetec S rear bumper? Was wondering whether the bumpers and skirts from the Mk5 S would fit? I may well be in touch with you for advice if that's ok.

Yeah the mk5 zetec-s stuff fits onto the mk4, but the front bumper will need trimming and fiddling around the front headlights...

heres some pics of mine..

Nice car!

Just got a quote through for Zetec S sideskirts and rear bumper, just shy of 500 quid for the parts which I thought was good.
