I wouldnt go as far as saying chewed mate but there is a few minor marks on the edges as seen, this doesnt affect the performance at all, however i do understand that this may put someone off (altho it shouldnt) but i think its a very fair price for that turbo,

just to add the -34 actuator comes with it.

If anyone has anything they would like to add about it, ie price, condition, please feel free i`d like to no what everyone thinks

The damage isnt that bad ,,but what worries me more is that whatever damaged the blades must have gone through the turbo , so has it damaged anything else ?? if it works ok then it must be fine

£850 is far to high tho,, IMO ,,

I really dont no what it could have been, im sure at the rate a turbo spins and the heat it produces small parts of dust could have done it, altho i may be talking pish, and as i sayed the turbo is fine , no problems what so ever,

what kind of money do you think its worth then paul? this more your line of work as you buy and sell, what do they go for

To be honest mate , with the new t38 turbos etc and the big turbos now available on the market the old t4 is not that much in demand ,

Default t4

just sold my T4 for £600 ("lag monster")
it had 360 bearing with twin gapless rings on the exhaust shaft.
took a while to sell though as the t38 or roller bearing turbo seem to be more popular.

£600 seems a bit cheap to me mate, at the end of the day people will pay what they think its worth tho,

I spoke to my mate tonight and he said he`s open to offers on it, feel free on an offer anyone who might be interested

obviously its not in A1 condition, and the pictures show that with the condition of the leading edges on the blades.

granted that its probably only minimal damage and doesnt affect working characteristics etc.

but as said above - the new T38's are very popular at present and ive had 2 myself, to go for a T4 it would have to be in perfect condition to consider it at the price thats being asked for it.

sorry to be off, but the £600 achieved by the other T4 sounds a much more fair price to me - especially when i can get brand new T38's for a only a few ££ more.

1. Thats not mint as you described
2. 850 is too much (even with the hoses and actuator)

Looks like the air filter was shot or not placed correctly and over time the dirt getting in has worn the front of the blades.

I reckon you would get about £400/500 max for that in that condition.

Eh i think we`ve gathered that mate, but as said it isnt THAT bad, ok i did say mint as i didnt no that when your so close you can see the small marks on the blades until i posted the pictures, when holding it in your hand it doesnt look like that , but it also says open to offers mate, that means that he`s willing to come and go on the price, as for 400/500 max where have you been getting them for that price may i ask, its still a T4 at the end of the day, i`ve seen people looking for that kind of cash for T34`s

Much bigger market for a T34 mate............and people might be looking for that sort of cash, but do they get it?

Clean it up and put a new comp wheel in. Re advertise and you might get nearer to what your looking for.

......or else stick it on eBay as it is with no reserve and be prepared for a shock!!!!

Sell the Hoses separately as well. You should get good money for them on eBay.

Whatever happens, good luck with your sale.
