It is a lad called Justin....Dont know if he is on here....
An Irish lad....The car is the same spec as Rainbirds and looked awesome on the track today, its a real big look
He also has the white saph with Rainbirds old 500bhp engine in which was featured in PF iirc!

it was going really well
, surprised me too.
was a good session.
Justin's car has the R&B Motorsport "Nur-Spec" suspension set up, the R&B spec brakes (water cooled WRC 6-pots), some Dunlop DZ02G tyres and one of Harvey's T4 "500" engines (made 512bhp, so where the 550/600 comes from I have no idea
). However, it does accelerate quickly courtessey of an R&D 6-speed dog box running a direct drive top gear.
Anyway, my most fun on track today was with Dave on our last session, with what seemed equal power (my engine is starting to get tired now after 34k of abuse
). I stuck behind him waiting for his tyres to warm up (as my road tyres take three corners
), and then we went for it and it was like syncronised Cossie driving
, with Justin supposed to be filming us for Performance Ford, so Dave and I were pushing harder and harder (inch perfect and superb driving from Dave
) and poor old Justin didn't have enough fuel to stay with us (that's his excuse, and I'm sure he's sticking it
). Towards the end of the session my tyres were overheating and Dave started to pull a car length with each lap (I've already talked to Marco about gettinng the same tyres Dave
). and then it started to spit with rain, and I could see Dave get "nervous" about falling off track with his slicks on, as he started to slow up. Not wanting anyone to think I had overtaken him (as he deserved to be in front when we came in
), I did the same, as he had driven the socks off that car, and respect was due
. Great fun
.
Although the RS200 seemed quick in a straight line, it seemed to struggle in the corners, which given I was on road tyres, I was a little surprised at
. I think it would be a WEAPON with some suspension development
.

Mike
fair play to you for giving respect out where is due
I did watch that session and to be honest all 3 of you were on the pace
i think if all 3 of you were on the same tyres it would have been even more intresting to watch you would be swaping places dramatically
thats what is all about having fun
Cheers marco

ROFLWell if you doubt the SCS dyno, you have to doubt the ND one, as they are same dynos
. Funny how you never slag them off
.
Dave
to be honest tryes do make a massive differance
and slicks hide alot of things
i know even my mk5 with the slicks on made a big differance to road tyres
saying all this it was great to watch
