Default Changing RS Colour! Should I...?

Well by the end of this week my RS(S2) should be aboiut ready for paint after its resto!

Its white at the moment but Ive always fancied a Black or Red one im more leaning towards red at the min! But im worried about if i ever come to sell it would it put people off as they may feel its a ringer,or un-original?

Also anyone in the lincoln area fanvy a cash/private job?

It will effect value when you sell imo but red is THE colour for any car imo

LOL Red is only THE colour if it has the right wheels and isn't faded- but I know what you mean.

As for colour- white is too common on RS's so somet else is better but you're gonna have the questions to deal with when you come to sell it if you do change colour.

Thats it,it is common and i wanted a red one when i was buying one but one didnt come up...and with me putting so much work into it i would like it to stand out a little more! Gotta be black wheels on a red car!

i reckon u would be ok changing the colour and as your changing to another standard series2 colour u should be fine. yea, wen it comes to resale time , ya gonna get the usual questins asked, but then u can back it up by sayin- u just genuinely wanted a red one.

One tip!- take pics of your car now and hen of whilst its in bodyshop bein done so next buyer etc can see it is just genuinely havin its colour changed and not anything dodgy as to why it is not the original colour
