P100 V6 - 2.8 or 2.9?
Guys, need some input...
I've got a J plate P100 with a 2 litre pinto which has breathed it's last.
I have bought an A reg XR4i (2WD) to be a donor car but have just been offered a 2.9 lump out of a Granada - which would make most sense to fit?
Also, is there a rear axle that'll got straight onto the leafsprung P100, I wnat to change the car to a 4 stud hub and thought it would be easier to swap the front legs etc that fanny around with the hubs. Any ideas?
Finally, if there is no suimple solution, does anyone know what the widest tyres are I could fit onto the standard stell wheels?
Cheers... Keep it Old Skool! (Other car's a Mk1 Escort!)

The 2.8 is only any good as a boat anchor, get the 2.9 it's miles better
My mate has a 2.9 Cortina shape Y reg P100 and it is fitted with a XR4x4 rear axel and cortina front hubs giving 4 stud wheels and rear discs/LSD.
