Default URGENT - REAR ARM BOLTS TENSILE RATING

Does anyone know what is the tensile rating of the rear arm bolts on en esc cosworth, are these 8,8 or 10,9 ??

8.8 minimum.

10.9 is a bit overkill, but no harm is using them

Its not uncommon for someone to put new bolts in after they have had the arm off

Note - new nylock nuts MUST be used everytime they are removed

the boilts must be a min of 12.9 hence why theyare blue as std signifies high tensile for ford

I always assumed they were 8.8

defo 12.9 pal, hence the blue colour, all fords high tensile stuff is blue

The blue bolt on mine is a 10,9, just phones ford and they said the red ones are 12,9,

They did confirm that they should be 10,9 ie blue but as usual they don't sell them anymore !!.........

Any good online bolt shops !!!!

in fact ive just had a look, and the blue ones are 10.9 the ones i replaced them with are 12.9,s

Default REAR ARM HIGH TENSILE BOLTS - WHERE CAN I GET THEM

Thanks for checking, i nearly put 3 x 8,8 back in with one 10,9, they have been on the car for longer than i've owned it too !!!
