deleted as your not a gold member so your not entitled to advertise a car for sale aslo it was in the wrong section
only costs Ł20 mate for 1 years the auto trader costs about Ł50 now for 1 week,

 

told ya nobody wanted it

think its been deleted incase its a forsale thread



remember for all posts about money to add " not a forsale post" and it dont get deleted

 

 

it was in no way a FOR SALE thread...... i was mearly gaugeing interest in a SWAP for my car...NO MONEY changing hands....

therefore i have not broken amy rules ...have i ???

still need to be a paying gold member,nothing is free in this life and you know as well as i do doing what you are doing is advertisng your car as you will get a responce,
we all could do the same BUT you have to draw the line somewere or everyone will be at it.

Ginge - swap is as good as a for-sale. If we wanted to swap, we would of done like on FT.com and had a "swap room"

if he persists in advertising his car on the site, he will receive a 24 hour ban

i guess if your new or no-one knows you then you are on the hard side of the rules..... infact there is a few swap topics in the room that havent been deleted ....and they are non-gold members.

maybe one day people will stop assuming and start reading what is said in the post....

 

Just pay Ł20 mate and you can put as many "whats is wirth swap adverts" as you like for a whole year

there is no swop room though and its not in the rules either mate sobe honest what is he doing wrong ( well apart from readvertising when we havent decided its ok to and generally anoying you when your in a good mood)

but when i posted mine up it was just to get a idea and not to sell parts, i got a few pm's off people ( the vultures ) and i said the same thing top them that i wasnt sure about getting shot and it was just a idea post


i personally think we should let it be on this one as theres no rules relating to this directly and no swop room either so he cant advertise it in the right place tbh for the correct coverage he needs

besides it actually a nice car which is rare these days

this may be true but is it now going to be re addressed as people are working betewwn the loines and taking the piss,like all rules they do need updating from time to time so Iam sure the mod team will be speaking to to Stu and Pet regarding this matter
I was in the same boat only 2 days ago reagring a rule which was interpritated different by someone else,Iam not going to go into what happened as its now all sorted but be ready for a few changes

 

the rules state that ANY advertising is for gold members only, and in the correct places.

and GD is NOT the correct place

 

i was in no way taking the piss whatsoever, i looked at the rules before i posted...a while ago and as far as i was concerend i was not doing anything wrong....

Right time to stop the arguing

there will hopefully be a rule change to rectify this oversite as this problem has not come up before

nothing wrong with you not being a gold member biglee you have the right to be one or not this is your choice if you choice to or not.

And as you have said in the past there has been threads similar to yours but recently we have tightened up the modding as people were starting to take the piss.

the rules are clear to see and read,you must be a gold memebr to advertise,this guy is advertising a car,it does not matter if its for cash or a swap
at the end og the day the rules need chaging if you wish to pick between the lines,this site is a business and provideds revenue for Stu and Pet,this is paid for by gold members and traders,if no omne paid there would not be a site,plain and simple
so read what you want into the rules,pay up or dont advertise,try the same thing with aut trader and see if they will let you on there site for free

 

i dont want money and i was only gauging what people would swap.....and what i wanted....for a swap

A SWAP IS AN ADVERT

You have something that you don't need, someone may be interested in it. You put up a post stating this. that post IS and ADVERT

 

mate you still havnt grasped the point,no matter what your asking for swap or money you are still advertisng your item,which is against the rules,
just pay the fee and the job is done,at the end of the day you are going to have to "advertise" it somewhere either for cash or swap the Atuo Trader is still going to charge you for a swap so wht cant Passion Ford

 

personally I would even delete this thread as hes has a seroius amount of "free" publicity already and the rules have been explained in full
