The bigger numbers are phsyically bigger.

(ts actually a size relative to the wheel itself)

bigger = more power + more lag

It is very dependant on what engine they are on, as its about flow AND boost, so on a 6 litre v8, they would struggle to make much boost at all, especially at higher rpm as it would be swallowing the air too quickly.

But on a YB all will spike to 2 bar+, but none will hold it right to the limiter comfortabley.

Its going on a 2.1ZVH with acralite pistons.

I spoke to alexzvhcabrio and he said unless the pistons had been skimmed, it may struggle to make big boost. The engine was built by burtons and Im not sure of what their policy is with that.

JUst had comfirmation they have been "dished" and the compression ratio is 7:1.

Piston skimming wont really effect if it can make boost, more just wether or not it makes any power when it does, as if you dont have a low enough CR you have to have the timing heavily retarded to avoid Det.

at 7:1 though, the skies the limit i should think, although ive not mapped one personally.

No no, he clearly means the ENGINE wont be able to take it.

That turbo could to 35psi to the rev limiter all day long on that engine IMO.

Engine wont do it tho
