Popped round to see Andy tonight and he has asked me to put his car up for sale here on Passion Ford.

He wants £15k for it in the same trim as it did the 10.8 Second Quarter at Ultimate Steet Car a few weeks ago.

It's over 800bhp now and includes everything needed to drive away.

I think Andy only managed a 12 sec at TOTB due to traction problems

He managed a 10.8 with the same set up and better tyres at pod a week later.

It is now the fastest FWD car in the country

How come he's selling Austen?

Think SteveN saw it run at Brunters, reckoned it had hit stupid speeds half way down the straight! Should be a 190+mph car iirc!

 

To make way for an even faster project and to pay a chunk of the mortgage

 

I saw this at usc. was next to it in the camp area. how come he only did 1 run and left. was it playing up?

 

He did a couple of runs before snapping a drive shaft due to huge traction from the glued track.

All is repaired now

 

Hopefully Andy will be out over the next month or so to try and get a low 10 if he doesn't sell it first

The car is definately capable so lets wait and see

Its an easy 200mph at Brunters car.

It hit 178 or summat by less than half way when we timed it, and then he slowed down as CV gaiters gave way.

And it had less power then.

It really is a rocket, and 15k is a bargain.
