Lovely car to drive.... had a TT auto 1 on a L reg, UK spec are the best to have as they have better spec than Jap imports.... didn't have it long but it was 100% reliable and took a punishing

A good mate of mine had one for a year or so, and had no problems with it at all!
As has been said, UK spec cars are better, 326bhp
Pretty quick i guess, not stupid fast, but not shabby either
Totally impractical for pretty much anything - no probs if your just buying it to drive it and not planning on taking 4 people out very often

Never had one (I fooking WISH!) but driven two - 1 a completely std jap import (the "276bhp" one) and one slightly modded with a 350hp dyno sheet. Both were lovely to drive, and both very quick - obviously the 350hp one was faster
The modded one (not sure if it was UK or jap) had an auto box, with tiptronic buttons on the steering wheel, which was nice

My old mans got a tweeked Uk spec one and i have to say its awesome. To get 400bhp all you need is an exhaust air filter and set up with a bit more boost.
Comfortable as well.
Your be lucky to find a UK one now as they are so popular but mite be lucky with one
