Default 2/4wd inlet, throttle body swaps etc

Been looking this up and trying to find answers in the archives about sapphires but no good info as yet so;

Will a 2wd throttle body fit a 4x4 inlet
will a 4x4 plenum cover fit 2wd trumpets (any difference between trumpets?)
will a 4x4 cover and elbow fit a 2wd trumpet with 2wd fuel rail
whats the differnce in fitings for a 2 and 4x4 fuel rail if any.
Which is better for throttle response, flow etc Im running 330bhp Phew thanks

All 2wd and 4x4 inlets and plenums can be mixed and matched
(not 100% sure about small turb esc cos though )

If you use a 4x4 plenum you will have to make a bracket to bolt the 2wd fuel rail to the plenum
The front mounting point is in a different place

Pretty sure 4x4 plenums are less restrictive than 2wd

Fitted a 4x4 plenum to mine, and a plenum spacer, only because I was having it live mapped though

thanks for that. Anybody got a pic to illustrate the front mount position difference? Are the swedish type plenums built with a certain fuel rail in mind then? if so is it 2 or 4wd?

Everything will be made for 4x4 fuel rail.

right OK then does the 4x4 inlet give better throttle response too or just improve power and torque too?

Think the inlet manifolds are the same

Just the plenums are different

if you use a 4x4 plenum cover, you're better off using also a 4x4 fuel rail with it than modifying a 2wd one to fit, as the FPR is fixed to the rail on 4x4 not with a shonky length of hose like on a 2wd.

i did that, but brazed on the quick connect end from a 2wd so that i could still use a 2wd fule supply pipe and remove/refit it easily
