Default newbie alert!

hi guys, thought i'd pop in and say hi.

my name is pete and i own an escort estate TD, thing is i'm looking to make it a little quicker but retain its reliability. its low mileagae and i need it to be reliable as its the only form of transport for my wife and twins (now 8 months old). i have heard you can tweek the fuel pump on a vauxhall and with a few other mods squeeze more power from a corsa TD. can this be done with my escort? any help would be great.

nice site, spent a lil while looking around it.

Pete.
