Oh you are NOT telling me this was today?? I've been sitting around bored, wanting to drive the ZT somewhere (I live just near Tebay, near Kendal) and THIS was going on?!!! Absolutely gutted

 

shame you missed it it was in the shows forum advertised for ages

 

Oh FFS, that's so gutting I remember I had to miss it this year, but today I had this real urge to drive the ZT for some reason, but had nowhere to go. Took the diesel out for a random drive up Keswick kind of way. I was so desperate for some show action I even went to that Police day up at Carlisle (I saw your car there btw matey, couldn't find you to say "hi" to or introduce myself), so to miss this...pretty much the only show worth being at in Cumbria...well, I think I've said enough

never had 1 in there for for 6 years,put a bulb in this morning,its the only
thing iv'e done to the car in months,so i blame that f****g thing,
now flatend in the bin.....

The only S1 i know that you have to remove a bulb to start it! Laughed at the last pic, Steve askin his little lad if he knows why it won't start

Yeah I missed last year too! This is my thread of whinging!! Where abouts are you from? Is there ANYone on here with a nice car from near Kendal? I only ever see Corsa heaps whenever I go into town, would be good to get out every now and then to meet up with some Ford owners with nice cars! I went up Cockermouth way yesterday and saw the blue EsCos reg. K5SSY (can't remember who it is)...but that's over 50 miles from me lol

 

the 2 s1's,in these pictures are both from kendal,s 1 ste & series 1 Dry. theres also a 3rd s1 having a full rebuild inc zetec engine....

 

Hmmmmmm well actually, I must say I saw one extremely clean S1 about this time last year, but I wasn't in my ZT so didn't bother honking or flashing I'll just have to keep an eye out then I guess!

Had a great day, weather was spot on too!!

Great to get the sapph out and give it a blast down the motorway, when it wasn't busy!! ha

Met up with S1 Ste and Series1Dry and carried on to the show!! Nice to meet you chaps and cheers for showing me the way lads as i would have never found that place!! ha ha

Also loving the Series 1's, Awesome motors!!!
