just bought a failed mot p reg fiesta 1.25 for £150

needs a couple of tyres and bulbs and a lambda sensor to pass mot.

also, the electric window mechanisms are broken. the cable was snapped and all wound up in the motor bit.



does anyone know if you can buy just the cable and bits and bobs, or is it the whole shebang?

could get some from a scrappy i s'pose, or has anyone got any for sale?

 

duno mate but cant imagine the whole mechanism being more than £15 from breakers, got to be easier?

 

you wont get the cable on its own, and even if ya could i would reocomend getting one from scrappy.

i re-wound the cable on the wifes volvo years ago just to get the window back up, was a nightmare, worked fine after though and was still working when we sold it.

got a pair from the closest scrapyard to me for just £40. well happy with that
