Default Noisey engine

My engine is starting to rattle. When its on tick over it sounds like theres nuts and bolts rumbling around. I had a problem like this before on my last s2 And changed the cam and lifters and it didnt make any difference. any ideas would be grateful.

You don't say where are the noises coming from? Top, bottom, front, back of the engine?

mate dont want to say but gotta be bearings its a Rs its a bearing 95 percent sure, take it to a turner if you can and get them to listen to it and i advise you to be gentle on boosting it cos you can do more damage

depends on the damage which you gonna have to get the crank out, i am in the same position, it aint gonna be cheap, but like i said get a second and thrid opinion on it before you get sucked into spending a few quid. 9 times out of 10 the crank is gonna need a regrind
