As they say Drifting is not allowed, But never said anything about me doing it in my cossie,

Also seen m3's and cossie doing it in a safe manner,

but if you want to do it Jap Style, then they might say something.

Dan its finding the time & money, its always more difficult to arrange things when you have kids & a wife !

Had 3 sessions at silverstone last Sunday, loved the the track found it easy compared with Brands,wasn't hard on brakes or suspension either but their was some real tosser drivers at Ford fair, had 3 RS turbo's spin off in front of me on seperate occasions because they wouldn't move out of the way, just kept pushing them .

I will be in my s1 and my bruv in his mk1 All tho i went brands kent meet last nite car was going good but i was geting bad oil serge round clearways will have to sort a sump out if i want to go lydden

 

Just got in.

What a good day, done about 110 laps today, in conditions ranging from damp - water logged, and 2 sessions dry.

i've improved my lap times in my xr2t to 49's + 50 deads in the dry, with damp patches (which is a ave 2 seconds faster than before in complete dry) and still with bad fuel surge on the left hander and up the hill.
52's on goodyear F1 tyres in the damp.
55's in flooding ran, with nearly no vision, and puddle's across the track.

 

Good to see you had a great day. I was planning on coming along & doing the day but tbh it got to friday & i just could'nt be arsed with it, spending the day with the family seemed more apealing ! Did a trackday at Brands in the pissing rain once & it wasn't very enjoyable as had to run low boost (0.5 bar) as everytime i planted my foot it spun up in each gear except 5th. Post up on here when you guys are doing another as i will join u at some point !

Glad the car went ok & didn't break !

Best time is 47.5. Racing there on saturday and hoping to get low 47-high 46

my xr2i does mid 48's on road tyres and un set up suspension, thats running a 2.0.
