If you're using photoshop, just add it onto a layer, then use the magic eraser tool and all the white will dissappear

Never mind, found it

When I cut it though it takes out half the seat unit because that's white too

How can I stop that?

using the polygon lasso tool outline the seat area where its white and then select new layer via copy.
then deselect the lasso.
and move this layer above the original bike one.

then go back to the original layer and use the eraser tool. and you should be left with the seat one still on top.
You can then press Control and E with the top layer (seat) selected and they'll merge into one..........

done
