Default running very hot !!!!!!!!

I have a fiesta turbo which has just been rebuilt. But is running very hot but dont know why, I have replaced the radiator the thermostat the fan switch and the interior rad also had a water pump. The temperature does not seem to drop below 100 degrees c. So i checked the obvious the thermostat is opening and all of the pipes are getting hot. But i have noticed that when the thermostat is in there is not much flow back through the return pipe to the header tank. When it is out its much better and runs cooler and the fan cuts in and out, is it safe to run like this or will it cause problems.

you run the risk of cracking block/ head etc as when running without thermostat you dont allow the engine to even up evenly, properly

with proper warm ups and cool downs cant see you cracking the head, just need to be a little sensible

it all depends on cond of engine and the way its driven, but just think, if there was no need for it it wouldnt be there to start with

Try 2 x 12" kenlowe, spal fans and see if this makes a difference, with kenlowe you can have one fan come in at one temp and the other before it gets to the red.

Cheers for all the help but the problem is sorted i traced it down to a bad water pump that i had from P J motorsport. Let this be a lesson to buy genuine parts in future....
