after people venting the usual complaints about food prices, traffic etc it would be nice to have a post about the good things
i sometimes feel a bit 'showed out' after going for years but still enjoy the social aspect & seeing new cars.

One of my highlights of the day was seeing 1 of my old saffs, the black 4x4, it was the best car i've ever had
Its now owned by another PF user, 'gingeRS' it looked ace & was just as would have looked if i still owned it
I put a lot of time & effort into that car & i was so pleased that someone else has carried that on


What were your good points peeps ????

 

i thought the whole show was awesome,plenty of variety and loads of top cars

no real downsides though,i expected the food to be pricey,and decided not to take a packed lunch....so i had to pay the prices,that's life!

saw some dodgy geezer with a 'flame' shirt though

 

i really enjoyed it, i knew food was gonna be exspensive, so we brought BBQ's, the day was good, but what really impressed me was 3 bouncy castles for the kids and they were completely free, now that was a nice touch imo, and ensured everyoe had a good day, very impressed with that

 

Really enjoyed it today, nice to put some faces to names off here

Oh, and seeing the Reyland escort

 

Seeing the reyland escoss v2.0 in the flesh, stunning

seeing the am sport escoss, tony ryan, chris todd and steve scott on track (missed mike rainbird though)

thought the show was genrally

 

I really enjoyed the Track action, defo the highlight for me

I cant complain about food prices as i took a HUGE picnic

Enjoyed it, but I still prefer National Day..

My best part of the day?

My time on track in the E30

 

Graceland was yours on a stand ??? thought it was on FF, but everytimw i went on there it wasnt ?

High light of my day was seeing the White Fiesta Turbo "Doing" the Evo on the track I was loving it I tell ya


Saw that black E30 on the track - it sounded gorgeous

 

Sitting on the brooklands stand with Stu and Nicole above me, with (can't remember his name) shouting out at 'Rainbum' and calling every car which was good 'naughty' legend.

What an absolute legend Was almost crying with some of the stuff he was coming out with.

It was there - parked next to Sib and Phil on the Fast Ford stand - was there from 8:45 to about 14:15

 

Thought it was all good Best bit seeing the Moonstone 3 door giving it side ways on the track

Bad bits of the day Tea and coffee tasted like sh*t never drank one just ended up throwing it

 

cant have been looking very hard then

 

Infact, it was the ONLY E30 at the show

For me the track action was by far the most interesting i was watching it for ages some really top cars today i saw most of the cars owned by people off here which we're just too many too list lol,

I couldn't even find you lot i saw every single stand and walked round 4 times but never saw the pf stand although i saw stu and nicole arrive and lulu on her way in and various other people but everyone off here i know of were everywhere,

There cars were scattered around in all sorts of places but no one sat in them so i couldn't say hello and introduce my self

Also saving the best for last i saw rs cossie kim heading towards the cars for sale area cheers, Grant

some nice cars there too, think we deffinitly had the out of the way group position though
dougs 5 hours of polishin were well spent .. car was looking very nice mate

was a good day in all .. bit too hot for me though

Was an awesome day

My highlights were being on track, and holding my own around some corners..

The weather was a bit gay, but one track session, and I'm HOOKED now!

 

Martins aside,the best car for me was that RS FOCUS with COSSIE POWER. All looked so factory.

 

Was a top day, damn hot like but taking loads of food and drink was a huge bonus BBQ's rock

I enjoyed the little blast on the near deserted M1 at 7am altho i managed to lose my meh grill at about 130mph somewhere too - great weather, great company as usual, roll on Nash Day

 

i was just behind you Gracie when you spun off lol, just seen lots of smoke , looked awesome.

oh and Doug loosing it a bit and getting his car in the gravel pmsl!

 

for me was making it there in the cossie and home again without any hiccups

was great to meet new faces hmm where do i start jade and sally good to finally meet you,kaplaybunny,stu and nicole had a nice drink in the carvery with the blackpool crowd on the way back really good day out this yr
