do you have to drill to fit the strut brace??

Yes,4 holes each side to hold the bolts.Front struts need to be removed,about 1 hour fitting time in total.Defo makes a difference

Make sure you use strong nuts and bolts no self tappers

Thats how i fitted mine on my fiesta and will be doing the series 2 the same
