Hey everyone, will a series 1 fuel pipe that runs from the pump to the accumulator fit a series2 or are they different

 

Think it's different as on an S2 the acumulator is in the engine bay afaik!?

I used the metal banjo on the fuel pump, clamped a rubber fuel hose to it, cut the plastic hose at the accumulator end and pushed the hose over that with a clamp and had no problems!

S2 accumulator is located in the engine compartment, while the S1 is located next to the fuel tank. the option above seems the best way to go. Make sure that the fuel pipe is rated to above 6 bar of pressure otherwise you will have splitting issues which I previously had when doing a bodge repair to get me home one night!
