I would like to appologies for putting up the post about Pete @ RS Specialists. I was very wound up over what he did, but I should not have put my thoughts onto the web site, I should have just let pete know how I was feeling about his actions relating to the Wanted Add and I should have just e-mailed him and told him how I felt.

I did e-mail pete (even though I was pissed off with what he'd done) and I did ask him if he had any other suitable heads. And I did write the e-mails he he showed. As I'm desprate for a head. But inside I was fuming at what he had done. Not the sort of thing I would have expected from someone on this Web Site......... Especially a trader.

Calling or refering to me as a cheap skate ???? Where did that come from. I never quoted any price that I was willing to pay, I just advertised for what I was looking for.

I did not see his reply on the post offering to drop out of the purchase. I only have limited access to the web site, as must of you know I work onboard ship and only have web access when in port. So..... Sorry Pete, I did not see you reply offering to drop out of the sale, and I did not check the topic before I posted the one slagging you off.

Ok.... Now I've appologised

Oh and as for slagging Dingy off for suggesting an alternative place to pick up a head...... Not on Pete.

I haven't dragged anyone else into our argument, so have some respect and do the same.

Just checked the e-mails you sent me pete, and no where did you say that you would drop out of the purchase ...............

If you've got that e-mail please post that one up as well.

But to be honest, I've appologised for the slagging off I gave, and some mis- comunication due to the fact that I can't always check the web site and see people's replies.

So there's my appology......... End of story.

Whether what you did was right or wrong dosent' really matter anymore. But what you did..........I wouldn't have done, and I can feel good about that. And most people on here have known me long enough to know I don't normally slag off anyone.

You do swear alot don't you Pete............

Well done for the apology. I am unopinionated on the matter but it takes balls to post up when you have felt so strongly about something. Well done.

 

I apologised to pete for putting up the post, but he kept refering to his e-mail/post where he offered to back down on the purchase and leave it to me. I was unaware of this e-mail and have been searching for it.

Now I can see where he infact did this.... But if you read it VERY CAREFULLY you will see why I missed it. Probably just a typo on Pete's part but maybe now you can see why I didn't get this part of his message, and it looked like he was gloating by further stating "he had a few kicking about" The message is missing the critical "T" in "Have It
