Had a post up last week about my sticky wastegate which Stu rightly said was the "penny" having come loose on its mount. Have got downpipe off now,does anyone know how to tighten it in situ cos i don't want to remove the turbo really. HELP!

Fuck it,turbo is off now,going to see if can get it repaired tomorrow. Due on track on Saturday!!

I had a sticky wastegate a while ago, turned out where the wastegate shaft pases through the turbo it had become dirty and siezed, had to cut the top off give it a clean then weld it back on.

You can do it by fitting a stout bar behind the peny and then hammering the rivet flatter... Done it numerous times very succesfully.
