2. Members Conduct.
In posting on the PassionFord forums, you agree that you will not use the Discussion Forum or any other part of our site to:

Harass another person.
Collect or store personal data about other users.
Upload, post or e-mail any content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
Upload, post or email any content that infringes any intellectual property rights of any third party.
Upload, post or email and unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, 'junk mail', 'spam', 'chain letters', or any other form of solicitation.
Upload, post or email any content that contain computer viruses or any other computer code, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
Violate any applicable national or international laws or regulations.
Advertise the sale or whereabouts of illegal bootleg material(such as copied DVDs, VCDs and computer software).
Partake in Persistent xenophobia, racism or any other form of personal abuse including sexism.
Partake in anything invasive of a person's privacy, including the posting of photographs without that person's permission.
Without prejudice we reserve the right to block or remove any material that offends any of the above principles.
Please note the rule: Users are permitted only ONE username. People found to have registered more than one will have all memberships terminated.
2a. Victimisation/Abuse of individuals and arguing.
This includes publishing, distributing, circulating or otherwise propagating any material, which may be deemed abusive, offensive, anti-social, racist, sexist, [/b]distressing, harmful, cause anxiety,[/b] be of a threatening nature or be it of a general nuisance. Furthermore, any messages found to insult, discredit or bring disrepute to a Moderator or Moderators will be removed and the poster banned at the moderators descretion. Victimising, citing and/or hateful posts, as well as any private retaliation against a single member or a group of members is strictly prohibited. Messages found to contain private or personal information will also be removed / censored at the sole discretion of a Moderator.
Should an argument breakout that we feel can be left on PassionFord, the topic will normally be moved to our "Dummy spitting" forum so as not to disturb the harmony of the main rooms but there may be exceptions. Be aware that when an argument breaks out in a forum it is standard procedure for us to remove all members rights to edit their own posts within that forum for up to 48hours or until such time as a webteam member has investigated the complaint. This is so that any illegal material, defamatory comments, insulting personal or racist abuse that is against PF regulations cannot be secretly deleted by the Author when they get wind of a complaint to the webteam being lodged. This rule is to protect the membership as a whole from abuse going undealt with and also the PassionFord administration from prosecution.

The only person (other than spammers) who I have ever had to ban is Phil, and I texted him followed by a 15 minute phone call as to why he was banned (but he STILL thinks it is everyone elses fault - and now considers me to be a power crazy "hater" who he no longer considers his friend

There are clear guidelines of what constitutes a bannable offence and now there are clear periods of banning time as well, so I fail to see how any mod can be considered being a "nazi" purely for enforcing the rules

Perhaps you should re-read the post and the highlighted items (especially the red ones ) and have a think, as I can visualise at least three mods hovering over YOUR name for a ban 
.

, everyone takes the piss out of me in good humour (apart from Phil recently, I can't remember a time when it has been a serious attack on my character ), but PON's comments towards Andy come across as vindictive (like Phil with Chip), hence the ban.

I remember not so long ago posting a thread titled 'other forums' where i was full of praise at how freindly and relaxed it is on passionford, whereas other forums werent so freindly and over moderated. it wasnt so long ago. Dont know if i could do such a post again

Same happened to me...........even though no one could tell me who banned me & for what!
It seems like they're all too quick to hit the ban button these days! Apart from Pete & Mike who are USUALLY spot on!

. Might I suggest you just ignore him as well - would make a much better atmosphere, especially as you talk of it being corrupted by unfriendly posts .

I understand the neccesity to have to ban people from time to time, its gonna happen. I also understand that you cant really be seen to not 'support' the moderating team, that would be just silly. I dont think anyone expects for the mods to be banned themselves, that isnt gonna happen. But lets be honest, SOME of the moderating is a bit over zealous, you have to admit that, wether it be on here or not. Maybe a word in a few ears is called for behined the scenes? that way non of the mods lose any face to in front of the users, and some of the users are saved from bans!

Never mentioned anything about being able to abuse people because i pay..........Not what i read / wrote anyway.
All i'm saying is an PM Would be an idea, as when i got banned (for what we still do not know!) i had to email Pet.

.There are LOTS of people whose attitude I dislike on this forum, but I just ignore them and avoid posting on their threads, as in my opinion that is a more adult thing to do, as well as keeping the atmosphere more pleasant

I was commenting on some of the moderating though Mike, not on my aversion to Chip. So you are gonna pull me on this one occasion that i commented about Chip when i could see he was fishing for a bite? why not pull him up? i have to agree with Phil on occasions that chip gets away with murder, but that is another discussion, not the one im talking about here. so lets get back on topic eh, some harcore moderating
