oyeah forgot thos. xr6 looks like a xr4x4 dont it?
Depends, if you mean the SIERRA XR6, looks like a XR4x4, RWD, and 3litre Essex V6 in it.
SIERRA XR8s looked similar, South Aftrican GrpA Homologation special, 5litre V8 from Ford Mustang and T5 box.
The more recent Aussie XR6s and XR8s are totaly different cars all together, and the newest shape versions of both look VERY nice, and the XR6 Turbo is 3.5litre 24v straight six turbo, comes with a massive GT40 turbo and a shitload of power as standard

the old S.A. Xr6s and Xr8s were old, based on the Mk1 Sierra.

"Its 5.4-litre capacity, 32 valves and double overhead camshafts per bank therefore work in concert to release 290 kilowatts of power and a phenomenal 520 Newton metres of torque. So not only is there free-revving top-end power but a wall of torque from down low as well. In combination with the tuned stainless steel exhaust system, it produces the trademark rumble that lets you know you're driving a real, blue-blooded Aussie V8. It has a quality that clearly communicates who exactly owns the road".

not yet. could do that this weekend now you mention it! I will call in on the way home and see if I can book one. Have seen inside plenty of them. That webpage has some good pics and stats.
Hear them a lot as they are relatively common here, at least the XR6 turbo is anyway. There are a lot of V6's and V8's here. I think it is fordfalcon.com.au has some more pics. Will see if I can at least get a brochure
