Default Disposing of Shell

Just wondering if i can dispose of a sapphire shell i.e. no interior, engine, wheels etc... using my local scrapyard? or would i need to call someone else?

The thing is i want to keep most of the parts of the car as spares and i want to keep my alloys as well, so will the scrappy lift the shell no probs? and will it cost anything?

My local scrappy came and picked up my old Escort Cabrio shell for Ł25.

They used a crane on the back of the lorry as it had no engine, wheels, roof, or running gear.

If you can't get a local scrappy to do it for reasonable money speak to your local council as they should have a scheme running with cirtain breakers for the collection and disposal. They charge a set fee of around Ł20.
