Hi,

I have a Sony Ericsson P900 mobilephone.It came with a SyncStation to connect to my PC and my PC runs Windows XP professional,however i cant get it to work at all....

Loaded the software,connected SyncStation to usb port but nothing.

Can anyone help?It says in the manual it is compatable with Windows XP but not XP Professional,would this make a difference?

mine works fine m8, take it all usb ports on ye pc are working ok? if you connect the phone to the dock does the PC do nothing ?

 

Yeah tryed all my usb ports with no joy

When i sit phone on dock nothing happens,and the ' MyP900' icon on desktop just says not connected.

Can i ask exactly what you did to install it please?I'll just remove all mt p900 files from pc and reinstall them again.Had this phone for months and i feel its wasted on me if i can use the thing properly

just installed the software, I had to use a USB 1.1 port and not a 2 port as that was a problem if I remember right... you running SP1 on ye XP??

Service Pack 1 update for Windows XP? think it's needed for the P900?
