that was a different class les, none 4 cylinder, he got disqualified for having bald tyres so best after him was 3.18, that pick up thing.

but i happy with the way the car running first outing this year

Greg ye was a good day was getting worried at the end the fensport toyota put down a 3.23 3 mins from the end and got out for another run but he bogged off the line was gutted for him but well he pipped me last year

actually tho was trying a gentler launch than normal and tbh seems to work better for me

Steve ye bud the money is Ł250 each class no second prize (unlike the first year i entered which had Ł500 first place (which i gratefully took lol) and Ł250 for second place)

The split is just two groups, 4cylinder and more than 4 cylinder (is a max powewry type event mostly aimed at the smaller cars)
Your trouble would be having 6 cylinders u against the big boys in there v8 drag cars not so easy money

OH but actually was it mentioned I actually got the quickest time of all cars / classes of the day of cars that met the critera of "street legal" one of the v8's (one of the skinner bro's fiats) had his time disallowed for having "bald tyres" at the time he did a 2 sec pass and in the 4 cyl class a little kit car had his time of 3.11 disallowed for running with no lights no windscreen or wipers no battery and no tax (or at least that the bits i can remember them saying ), there were a few tasty skylines and supras there and the awsome fensport toyota

People always moan about ford fair timing gear, but at this event have always struggled to get good times and all cars normally moaning the timing gear reads slow so am well pleased with the time i got cause the best i ever been able to get on their gear was 3.4 secs

What sepc is it now?

 

It got a 450bhp A1 engine and a 150bhp shot of gas

Interestingly tho the engine always had a couple of little niggles every time it been on a rr (like last time the exhaust fell off on the way and was blowing from the turbo and the water injection split a pipe and very high ambient temp on the road )and the most it ever shown is 440 bhp and the strange bit the nitrous only showed a 65 bhp increase

spec is t4 and four greys and all the norm assosiated bits with as i said all work and chips etc being done by A1 rallysport
the nitrous kit was supplied from Nitrous solutions but fitted by myself
Quaife gearbox but standard diffs still (i aint replacing em till they blow, they just deserve to stay there they done so fookin well lol)
