Default water coming in

i've got water coming in my s2 in the rear footwell behind the drivers seat. any ideas where it might be coming from. it can't be coming from the front because the car is off the road partially stripped and it is on stands with the back end higher than the front, and the front is bone dry. only thing i can think to do is get in car when it's raining and see if i can see where it's coming from. has anyone had this before?

Door seal, tailgate seal or rear light seals are usually the favourites.

Check the side window strips are secure too, sometimes water runs down the glass into the door then inside the cabin.

I'd say light seals too, and if you are parking it on a slope its all running forward.

Make sure you lift the carpet and thoroughly dry it all out, its not going to be doing your floor pan any favours!!!
