Default Stainless

Whats the best product for getting rid of the tarnish effect you get on stainless exhausts ? I've got a powerflow unit thats a few years old and I need it spotless. Any help would be appreciated.

I've tried some maguires stuff and it never touched it !

Autosol. Although it might be a better idea to get it properly polished. Ill be doing this and have been quoted £35 for the whole exhaust polished to a mirror finish.

I've spoken to a couple of firms.

The first suggested they could mirror polish the lot, but it would cost £30 per hour and would take 10 hours !!! ( cheaper to get new exhaust )

The second suggested applying some pacifying gel and then remove with a scotchbright pad !!!

Anyone heard of this process ?

Default without doubt

T-cut and wire wool and a roll of soft cloth to buff it up after.

If it's covered in road film I'd use petrol mate......that moves anything.

For buffing up it's Autosol and LOTS of elbow grease...............
