Can anybody tell me if the xr2i was sold in belgium in the both engines.

I can buy a xr2i , it should be a 1.8 16v 130bhp. but i want to be shure it is the 130bhp on and not the 105bhp one.

I know that the 105bhp one in the uk is called the xr2i and the 130bhp one the rs1800.

the guy who sells it told me that in belgium only the 130bhp version was sold by the name of xr2i , is this correct???

1.8 130PS is a RS1800
1.8 105PS is a XR2i

 

In UK - right.

For example Germany:

1.6 8V - XR2i
1.8 16V 105 PS - Fiesta S (without bodykit and quad lights)
1.8 16V 130 PS - Fiesta XR2i 16V


Should be the same in belgium. IIRR the RS1800 was only sold in the UK and the Fiesta RS Turbo never officially in Germany!

No problem.

But I don't know all of the visible differences between Fiesta S and XR2i 16V.

I believe the S didn't have the bucket seats, there was a sticker on the engine, the engine code is different, the throttle body, the camshafts, the ECU, and it didn't have the bodykit.

Don't you get papers of the car in Belgium where you can see the PS?

 

it got all the visible specs of the uk Rs1800 : bodykit,mirrors, wheels, interior..., all but the bonnet, it is a rs turbo one. I asked the owner if thats the original one and he told me it was, thats wy i'm in doubt.

in belgium we also have the papers with the ps on , but i was thinking to hard i believe
