Is it me or is everyone drinking MAGNERS CIDER.Iv,e recentley converted to it as it,s fucking lovley.Was at the off-licience last night and he,d ran out.Said he can,t buy it quick enough.Anyone else love a pickled apple

i thought i'd be clever and try plain strongbow seeing as i was back on cider...i wont do that again because its boggin

Its huge in Ireland. I think about 90% of my cousins drink the stuff, especially the girls. I'm more of a bitter man meself but its probably one of the nicest ciders about

i was scared to try magners and the smell brought back some fucking awful memories

I remember them so well. A 3 litre bottle of the cheapest paint stripper esq cider you could buy with a fiver and still have enough change for 10 fags!! Blackout anyone

yep magners and bulmers are the same,made in clonmel co tipperary,drinking it as i type this

 

tis nice, different to normal cider, can see why birds would drink it, as it dont even seem like alcohol, could drink tons of it.

if i wasnted to get pissed on cider id still hit the frosty jacks tho, no point fucking about with weak shit.

but thats what vodkas for, shame i blew all my money last night and got none to go out tonight

 

I'm not really cider fan, but I do quite like this one Can't drink a lot of it tho - probably cos I ain't really into cider as such....

But it is a nice refreshing change to beer, and quenches thirst a bit better too....

Best when it's proper ICE cold REALLY really really cold, with plenty of ice in it

 

There was a thread on this a while back and after that thread I decided to go and try it; every night out since has included a couple of bottles; love the stuff, pricy tho, so only have a couple of bottles on a night out, just as a break from the beer etc

 

Magners is very nice , but i think a better cider is some stuff they sell in wetherspoons ...kopparberg cider , you can get it in apple or pear

 

yup, i'm a fan of it too. recently bought 12 pint sized bottles for Ł14 from a local wholesalers. needless to say, it didnt last long and as said, it must be served with shit loads of ice otherwise its nowt special imo

 

Lovely stuff best thing about it i dont get so bloody bloated on it, but you cant beat a pint of white beer like hoegardeen sp?

 

Im a Big fan of it to.... Only discoverd it about 3 weeks ago when the bar i was in had no Stella... Was a baking hot day and a pint of Magners with Ice really hit the spot!

 

Fookin hell i drunk A LOT of that stuff a few weeks ago,i had a hang over for the whole day after and i drink the normal cider quite regular as well,when i need to be alive the next morning that is

Drunk by poncy twats who thinks it's cool 'cos it's on the tele and who 6 months ago wouldn't have gone near a pint of cider if you paid them.
