wastegate crack
I hear of people losing boost due to a cracked wastegate?? how can you check for this as mine won't hold more than 12psi but will peak!

Remove the exhaust elbow and have a look, the cracks will be obvious if it has any.

if it's peaking and not holding boost i'd say your actuator is weak!
