before every1 says i know the front bumper is crap.

it was on the car when i got it & im haveing a 90'spec bumper painted this week1

im new to the rwd action but not bad for a 21 year old in a car that no1 can comment on the handleing!!!

there'll be plenty more where that came from just gotta fit my chip, cam, intercooler & turn the boost up.

Steve I think its standard at the mo.....

 

it has standard downpipe into stainless backbox (exhaust is about 3ft long all 2gether). has -31 actuator & k&n.

not sure what boost as i have'nt got a gauge yet (sold them all)

the car needs setting up as its holding bak & thats y u have 2 give it all or nothing & all is proveing 2 be 2 much.

i do have chip'd ecu, kent cam with vernier pully & large intercooler to go on.

just not sure where 2 mount intercooler as its in the car at the min?? (was gonna mount it under rear boot floor wiv ducts forceing air to it)

i'll get it all sorted soon & turn the boost up so i can have some real fun (on video!)#

More vids pleaaaaaaase practice drifting, would look cool comming round that roundabout, i reckon itd be pretty hard tho with all the weight in the back, but not impossible nice one Geeza!!

wanna turn the boost more up??? seems like the car is kindda unpredictable, cfr. the end of the 2nd vid, tap too much gas and woops

im insured to drive anything so doesnt matter if its fwd, rwd or 4wd.

ide hate to try get insured on it on its own!!!!

car is running fuk all bost at the min & u have 2 rev & drop the clutch to get the ak end out.

the roundabout is hardly used & comes off an old bak road near my house.

need to dind sumwhere else 2 practise really where theres less stuff 2 hit!

does it get hot quickly, no overheating probs? Rad still at the front?

 

yes the rad is still in the front & it doesnt get hot quickly. it doesnt overheat all just got abit warm when giveing it loads for long periods of time (like in the video's).

 

get one in teh front too

There was a long running thread about it IIRC about people saying the usual dis-believing stuff and it would never work etc. Was on 3i management I believe - but back on std RST now.

Proved all the doubters wrong I guess

 

every1 says put 1 in the front aswell but i want rwd action not 4wd.

its a fun car & u can have much more fun at just the rear wheels!

Dirfting it and holding it sideways will be hard or nigh on impossible with the standard RST diff in it as they shit.

Get a nice tight uprated one and youl be well away, jus be careful as engine in back means a lot of weight, like a clock pendulum!

i know intercooler needs 2 be moved but waiting for a nice 1 2 turn up.

not useing the car on the road untill its all done anyway

 

pics look mad !! but think u should get some sort of fire wall maby ? like 20mm acrilic ! how is all the gears done ? coz they would be bak to front ?

not a clue how to put em up otherwise, go to about 100k each so not huge
just give u the idea really
1 is fookin great propper sliding into a do-nut and smoke everywhere
(i cant d/l the aove cos im on a shite pc on dial up)

 

the bar that bolts to the gearbox is now bolted to the bottom of bulkhead

the gear linkage bar is about 3inches long & runs forward wiv a long BAR welded to bottom that runs back to the gearbox.

the gearbox has abit of linkage running towards the back of the car wiv the other end of the BAR welded to bottom aswell.

bit had 2 explain but very simple when u see it.

all gears are in same place but does need looking at as the gear linkage is relly sloppy.

as i have said the car works but does need a few little bits sorting/ looking at. (will do in time)

 

fuel tank & fuel pump is under bonnet & a nice filler cap has been mounted in the front wing (as pictured). (just in case any1 asks)

 

where's the spare wheel ?

 

bloodyhell, didnt notice, that intercooler wont be doing anythnig there

then again std RST ones hardly do anyhow!

but a decent cooler will be a big help in power, its probably why the car isnt running right too, too high temps causing det or summat
