how shit is it?

knackered my pc cant log onto it with my gmail account

 

Been running it for months with no issues

 

its poo wont update all my old contacts unless im doing sommat wrong lol

 

Dont think much of this MSN live. Sometimes it wont log in because it cant find my contacts and only the other week there it wouldnt let me sign in until I updated the bloody thing

 

Have not tried this yet, and by the sounds of it I wont be trying it either

Thats what you get for trying out Beta stuff guys!

 

He only mentions live so I assume it is the full version like I run. Beta didnt even give me any major issues that I can remember.

Seems fine for me. I get a split second stall once it has logged me in but nothing major.

My son tried to install it without asking me. It didn't work, left me with error messages and lost my old msn.

Didn't try the beta but full version works fine for me

 

just un installed it as its bollox Takes 3 days to login

 

My sister put it on the main pc downstairs, and I used it once - again, I prefer 7.5 (which is what I use on my personal machine)

Occording to this its still in Beta, no such thing as full version if its still in Beta hence why its called "Beta" i.e testing phase.

You can't get Beta and Full Version out at same time otherwise why have Beta out still!

on my windows live theres nothing that says "Beta" and im sure a few months ago it said " windows live messenger beta" across the top of the main window, it doesnt say that now...........

 

yeah im pretty sure it didnt mention any BETA ware.

 

Do a google search for "MSN Live Messenger 8.0" (the new one) its currently 8.0 beta

Softpedia reviews still say its in beta also.

But like it says on the msn link i provided earlier, the beta logo still appears under the brand name.

 

I got an email this morning offering it as I have to each of my hotmail accounts. If I click the download button, I can download it straight from the browser. It has this paragraph:

"We are also delighted to say that Windows Live Messenger is the first service to come out of beta stage and is finally ready to go!"

 

Mine crashes now and again on the work PC, run's perfectly fine at home without any issues

yeah its been fine with me ive had it a long long time now. only thing i dont like thats new is that mail beta, ive sent an email complaining about that, proper fucks the internet up and you cant reply to emails without it freezing

 

whats actually diffrent between this one and the "old" 7.5 version?

 

To add confusion to the matter, I received a "Windows Live Messenger Beta" email this morning! Will post a pic later if I can. I think Microsoft might be confusing the user

 

i got that the other day but just deleted it as i know ive got the lastest version

 

Ok, so I was stupid enuff to instal this following an email, and guess what...it hung for hrs signing me in.

So uninstalled it, put 7.0 that hung, then put 7.5 on and that hung too

I'm now stuck on webmessenger which sucks, how can I fix it?
