Does anyone know's where is the RPM(dead) sensor AND neutral gear position sensor if it has one???

RPM signal is generated by the EDIS unit from the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) located in the bottom of the block adjacent the gearbox bellhousing. There is no Neutral Drive Switch (NDS) on the XR2i.

It looks like cps is working...as when the cps is unpluged the car wont start at all...although the wires seemed to been cousing sparks between + and - ... I fixed that but still no signal for the RPM meter...where is the EDIS unit???

It's mounted on a plate on the bulkhead, just to the right of the inlet manifold when viewed from the front of the car.

Checked it out to...everything OK...
Question for everyone:
How to test the signal coming from the green(rpm) wire on ignition coil???

The edis is connected properly with pin3 from right....and speed/rpm clocks are all well connected - (no gaps in wiring) that is.

Just still unsure how to check if there is signal at all from ignition pack?
