Cone filter Standard filter that is the question????
Ok so ive got a cone filter on and my engine bay is always red hot so basically ive got red hot air going into my cone filter.... Is it better than a standard filter? Should I put a standard filter on? Why do people drill standard filters? How do you drill a standard filter? Just a few questions really to help me decide what is best... Also is a series 1 standard air filter the same as a series 2?? Thanks for any input......
well ive just fitted a proalloy front mount intercooelr and an induction kit and the car felt like crap tbh ...didnt feel as fast as it should have so i swapped it for the standard air box and its far better ...fells a lot stronger
Ahh theres one on e bay with the front cut off I wondered why.. So what does it do if you cut that bit off? Also what difference does it make if you drill holes in it? And where do you drill them???
Its allows more air to flow onto the filter
I really dont see any point in drilling holes in it coz all the water runs through the vent and sits on top of the airbox, not good for the car to be sooking in water
