Mate of mine is thinking of putting a ford v6 into his vitara.

Ive seen it done in an SJ before, so there must be enough space and the boxes in a vitara must be strong enough, just wondered if anyone knew the details of how its done?
What clutch/flywheel do you use etc?

 

Did you ever see the pinky/purple vitara on top gear (maybe?) years ago with the 4x4 cosworth engine fitted?

I would like one with the v6 cosworth lump if i was doing it, 200bhp in a nice swb light vitara would be quick and they have selectable 2wd/4wd so could be a fun dont machine too
