Got the shout today that i will be on a boat early next week. I've been waiting to hear from the bloke for a couple of weeks and tbh i didnt think it was looking good.

Anyway i phoned him today and he said they are deffo interested and just need to find out where they can fit me in. So i was over the moon, then i get a phone call a few hours later saying hows about starting early next week

He then went on to explain we start our trainee electrical techs on £150 a day "but dont worry that will rapidly increase" he said it as if £150 a day is what you would get on the dole

I'm an electrician at the mo, but the trainee bit is purely meaning new to offshore and that type of work.

Should be good i'm going on a trenching boat somewhere in scotland i think.
