IMO they are very nice and capable cars, the gearbox lets them down though.

as said, 206 gti's are slow as shit and unlike yorkie bars are only suitable for girls who are impressed by the gti badge.

In comparison to an Escort GTi they are in a different league.. selling them, they're worth 7k tops.

kinda off topic but IMO a 206 Gti is miles better than an Escort GTi

You will sell that little Pug easier than the Beemer mate.

I deal in cars and that will shift quickly if it is straight enough and has no major faults.

Not the fastest but, as with everything, you get what you pay for

If your flogging the beemer & if you swop this 206 & will be selling it, i dont see any point swopping it

I always stick what with i got an flog it (for cash ) to buy what i want next...

& if somethink comes up what i want for a swop then i consider swopping

Works so much easyier even resell point of view, well to me it does

Unless the 206 is SILLY high mileage, then jump at it mate.

If you only after 5100 for yours, i would be suprised if u could not sell the 206 within 2 weeks for 6k
