Can i refund someone via paypal ? ie they payed for something via paypal but now want to pay cash can on collection. Can i fefund them ? it will save me adding more money on top to make exactly what they payed me.

Yes, go to the details of the transaction, at the very very bottom of the page is a refund button..

You need to have the refund amount in your paypal account but if so yes you can.
(If not you can transfer from your account)

Just click on 'details' and select refund IIRC
