here is the spec of my s1 fully lightend and balanced bottom end, shot peened rods arp bolts tuffrided crank 0.5 over bore useing low comp pistons stage 3 head big valves [stainless] ported and polished, kent cvh 37 cam, double valve springs ,efi inlet manifild,803 green injectors fse power boost valve gotech management radtech front mount inter cooler samcos swirl pot baily breather,im on a run in map at the moment, ill be runing 20psi any ideas please cheers
it depends. The one u have with that spec, will give a nice wide power band, and make a very fast road car. You prob have the ultimate spec for a driveable road car with power.
You can goto a stage 3 turbo - which is same as urs but with a 0.48 housing, not the std 0.36.
U won't have any real power below 3500 though with a 48, but it will be very strong once above that, and rev to 7k.

you have 2 options.
The 48 off a cossie will fit ur turbo, but then the exhaust won't fit. It is however a much better housing, due to where the turbine and wastegate are located. You would have to have a custom down pipe made, or i can get u an adaptor that allows the std exhasut to bolt straight on.
The other choise is saab/integrale hosuing, which is the same as an RST one, just a 48

Your looking at about 100 quid. The problem i've had with down pipes, is they crack. I do a lot of miles and need reliability. The adaptor uses top quality flanges, and 4mm thick tube...

Alright Craig,
Got your RS back from jamsport then! When you getting it mapped with full boost?
235bhp will be fun in a fwd car, mine was only 190 and that shifted, although you can forget about accelerating around corners when the boost hits
Hows damo's coming along? I gather he wants his back on the road b4 yours is done
