Guys,

Next week ( Wednesday to be exact) I should be in a position to buy an Escort Cosworth.

Ideally I am looking for a Lux in Red though will consider other colours / specs if the cars clean, below 60k, FSH from reputable garage and minimal number of previous owners. If tuned not much above mid 300bhp.

Car must be in good condition with original panels

Budget will be around £15,000 though I can stretch this by a few G's if a good condition lower milage car is offered.

£15000 should get you a pretty decent one no problem at all. A few grand more and you should get a near mint one with low mileage. Theres a few for sale on rsownersclub at the mo.

 

Very frustrating at the moment as not many available for the right kind of money and no one seems to be selling many mint lowish milage cars . I am prepared to spend 17K, maybe a bit more for the right car, especially if its red.

My cheque will be here this week so cash will be available by next week. I have found one nice car and will be waiting for the owner to PM me back but no gaurentees that the car will be available come the weekend.

I am sure someone must be tempted to part with their pride and joy for the right money

Yeah, I wanted that one but alas it has been sold. My cash will not be in place until Wednesday and Tony wanted to sell this weekend.
