Been looking around for one for a while now as when I start my new job I will be buying one.

Where do you guys look for one? i'd prefer one from a forum as most people know about the car and whether its been abused etc. so what sites?

What kind of price am I looking at for one? I'd prefer one that has had a rebuild sometime in its life or been looked after very well...

I found mine on Autotrader and if you want one the same, be patient and have 6k plus! Concourse ones fetch nearer 8k
For what the average person would describe as a very nice one, ie average miles, history and receipts, few mods, not too many owners etc, IMO they would fetch around 3-4k.
This website is a good place to start looking, as is the RS Owners Club

 

Autotrader is probably the best thing, and take 1 mechanic and one Series 2 owner with you
