Here's a quick thread on my wee run about - got it pretty cheap and just put a couple of bits on it I had lying about to make it respectable lookin - its a clean wee shell for its age:





But not the quickest car - 1.3 with 4 spd box lol so out it comes:



To be replaced with a 1.8 zetec 16v from a K reg XR3i:



Here's my old man stripping old engine for some parts we need for conversion:



Nice empty bay:



Hairdo putting a new timing belt on - (with a hammer??)



Then, hey presto its in!





Cue daft pose from a familiar face to many:



And finally, maybe a wee caption competition here!!!



Its only a 105 bhp engine, but coupled with a few mods such as a 1.1 5 spd box, lighter flywheel and shell, stainless and eventually cams and a chip it should go no bad
