Right i have a problem which keeps occuring then fixing itself and then breaking again (well you get the picture )

But what happens is i lock my doors - with the remote central locking - it locks itself and then unlocks itself, sometimes when it finally locks when i unlock it and open the door it keeps unlocking and locking over and over again...

Yesterday it was on its spell of not locking - today it seems to be fine...

Any ideas??

I had a simalar problem on my 2i, when i unlocked the door whilst it was open it kept trying to lock itself??

Sometimes tho when it wont lock it will but with the key and from the passenger side...

oh and i have different alarms on both cars so i am presuming its nopthing to do with that??

Help, anyone??

 

Dodgy earth on one of the motors?

Part of the mechanism sticking somewhere? Or the actual motor may be fooked and on it's way out.
