I have heard a bit about gotech. And also megasquirt. Its surpsrising what there is on the market. Do any of the systems ahve theri own trick or unique apsects to the sytsems, ie water injection for example?

Pectel T2. The best a man can get!

Of course you'll have to convert your car to proper EFI too with any of these ecu's..

You shouldn't judge an ecu by how many bling features it has.. It's how well it controls that engine that is paramount.. I guess it depends on if you want a nice car to drive or something to talk to your mates about in the pub..

Ok, so now we can see theres several options available. Whats the difference in cost between them all? Are they roughly the same, can you plug the mgmt into a laptop yourself for example and have some skullduggery fun?

i would personally choose the tuner your going to use first
ask them what management systems they can map and then decide from there

try mr turbo or dicktator from RSA - check the web
both units are around ZAR2,100.00
fully tunable every 250 rpm , built in boost sensors , enrichment screw
some guys here running 500kw on wheels
plug in your laptop and away you go - may need to fit efi manifold from fiesta
