cosworth discs all round using 2wd rears & 4x4 front calipers with braided hoses

trim is excellnt with only minor wear to the drivers seat and 2 small cracks in the dash

shell is rot free has had new front inner & outer wings & front panel
bulk head & battery tray are sound as is the underside of the car & a pillars.
all panels are excellent with no rust

Thats a cheap motor, wish i wasn't buying a house, wonder if the misses wants to live in an S1

 

update, brakes now sorted & engine runiing spot on
hopefully get it moted this week

 

is the back panel damaged any reciepts and history with it im very temped and my garage will be free as fom thursday does look very clean

 

there is a small dent in the back panel where I reversed it into my trolley jack ,
some reciepts & mots back to 1990 or 91 I think

 

ok so if i was to paint scuttule and wing rails and inner wings top of from panel rear bumper and back panel i would have a nice s1 does it require anymore paint work is it hpi clear thanx

as in the first post the car is in the body shop having the paintwork done so it will be mint. but please show me where u can buy a mint series 1 with a rebuilt engine, history for Ł2900.

only been foe sale fully sorted since last thursday, your car is probably not overpriced just that no one on here likes to part with any money
try advertising it in fast ford magazine or ebay, the reponse is much better

Ahhh i believe i saw this car a couple of weeks ago driving around the village. If it was you, the car looked really nice and well worth the money!!

Id have kept my S1 if i had a double garage.

Yes a few months ago mate, and a great job you did too.

I must say im very tempted to come and take a look at the S1 as ive always planned on getting another. I had to sell mine to get the cossie in the garage as i only had a single at the time.

Ive recently moved house to Handsworth and im having a double garage built round the back so will be able to get another S1 when its done.

If you still have yours by then, ill probably come and take a look, although it will more than likely sell by the time i finish the garage!!
