I want to record from my decks onto my pc then burn cd's from there but dont know what software to use since ive never linked them up before.

I also want something that will allow me to put breaks in between the tracks so that i can flick the tracks in the car as well and also so anyone who wants one will not have to sit through an hour of music just to hear the last track which they quite like

Media player doesnt do it from a line in so what can i use?

Got mine from amazon tho.
Then use Nero to burn the cd.

 

I use Cool Edit Pro, although not for anything like you are doing. It is highly advance though, you can edit individual channels and crap like that.
