Big turbo esc cos oil pump engine out or not??

Am i right in saying the engine has to come out to replace the oil pump??

Just looked at Autodata they give you nearly 8 hours to do the job so i would say engine out

Tony,
Changed mine on my escort with the engine in place.

Chock the car up, support the engine then take it apart from the
bottom upwards.

Took me all day though with help !
